Self-guided tours are available during our normal business hours: Wednesday - Friday 9 am - 2:30 pm Saturday 9am - 3:30pm Sunday 10am - 3:30pm They take approximately an hour to an hour and a half. Sensible shoes are strongly encouraged as steep stairways are along the tour route. Multiple on-deck as well as below-deck compartments are available to explore and Docents are on board to answer any questions. The newly reopened Navy Pier is also now open to explore as well.
The USS ORLECK was launched in 1945 and served in the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. She is retired now and is serving as a floating museum.
